GeoKIT

Geospatial intelligence, ready to deploy. Mapping, routing, geofencing, and location analytics for fleets, logistics, and field ops.

Overview

GeoKIT is a self-hostable geospatial stack for teams that need more than a Google Maps embed — fleets, logistics operators, field-service providers, and anyone making decisions about where things are and where they should go next. It replaces the typical stitched-together spike of Mapbox, a routing SaaS, and a few PostGIS queries with one coherent platform.

At the core sits PostGIS for storage, OSRM and Valhalla for routing profiles, and H3 for spatial indexing at scale. MapLibre renders vector tiles you can style and host yourself, with optional Mapbox GL fallbacks for rich client features. Geofences, dwell detection, and event streams run on top of Postgres + Redis, and DuckDB powers analytical queries over trip histories without moving data around.

Day 1

On day 1 you get a map UI with your assets plotted, basic routing and ETAs, and geofence event webhooks firing into your system.

Week 3

By week 3 you have custom map styles, routing profiles tuned for your vehicle classes, isochrone and catchment dashboards, and VRP batch jobs scheduling real dispatches against your constraints.

The difference

Build it from scratch, or start a week ahead

Building it yourself
  • Six to nine months building the orchestration, memory and recovery before a first real result.
  • An evaluation harness you write from scratch — then argue about.
  • A team learning your edge cases live, in production.
  • A black-box vendor you can't inspect, tune or move off.
With GeoKIT
  • A working GeoKIT on your data in week one — the hard parts already solved.
  • Evals seeded on day one and graded against your real workflows.
  • Senior owners with full traces and dashboards from the first deploy.
  • You own the prompts, the weights, the traces and the outcomes.

Use cases

Where teams deploy it

Fine-tuned on your data and shaped to the workflow it lands in — these are the deployments we see most.

The runway

Kick-off to production in three weeks

A fixed scope and a visible finish line — you see it working before it's load-bearing.

Week 1 — Integration

Connect your telematics, assets, and orders; stand up the map stack.

Week 2 — Fine-tune

Custom styles, routing profiles, and analytics tuned to your geography.

Week 3 — Ship

Operator dashboards, mobile views, and alerts live for your team.

Why this kit

Off-the-shelf map SaaS gets expensive fast and locks you into someone else's schema; raw OSS takes a quarter to wire together. GeoKIT is the middle path — open components, your infrastructure, but already integrated.

They understand our needs quickly and are a delight to work with.

GeoKIT, live on your stack in a week

One call to scope it, a senior team on it from day one — and a fixed scope agreed before we start.
