Technical Lead (TypeScript/Next.js)

Impressit is looking for a Senior Full-Stack/Technical Lead to join a cross-functional product team building a modern, AI-powered, white-label SaaS platform for community, membership, events, and networking organizations. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of the product's technical direction and architecture while working with a modern technology stack and an international team.
The platform combines community management, networking, events, marketplace functionality, knowledge sharing, subscriptions, invoicing, rewards, and AI-powered personalization. Core features include AI-powered onboarding, member-to-member marketplace, event discovery, networking and matchmaking, paid subscriptions, rewards and referrals, and a chat-based AI assistant.

— Own and evolve the white-label and multi-tenant architecture, including theming, tenant configuration, feature flags, and tenant isolation
— Architect and lead development of a scalable Next.js application using App Router, Server Components, Server Actions, and feature-based architecture
— Build type-safe backends with tRPC and Zod and integrate them with React Query
— Design and manage PostgreSQL schemas with Drizzle ORM, including vector search and AI-driven features using pgvector/pgai
— Develop accessible and reusable forms, chat interfaces, and UI components with React Hook Form, TailwindCSS, and shadcn/ui
— Implement efficient client-side data flows with React Query and high-performance interfaces with TanStack Virtual
— Integrate AI capabilities using OpenAI and the AI SDK, including streaming responses, tool calling, and RAG workflows
— Implement secure authentication and authorization with Keycloak/OIDC and NextAuth/Auth.js, including RBAC
— Drive application security best practices across frontend, backend, and APIs
— Own CI/CD, automated database migrations, Azure infrastructure, observability, logging, tracing, and performance monitoring
— Oversee Salesforce data flows and bi-directional synchronization
— Set engineering standards, lead code reviews, and contribute to architecture and design decisions
— Mentor engineers and work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver new features
— Ensure the platform remains scalable, secure, reliable, performant, and maintainable

— 5+ years of commercial experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, including technical or team leadership experience
— Expert-level proficiency in Next.js, including App Router, Server Components, Server Actions, and scalable architecture
— Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and feature-based architecture
— Understanding of multi-tenant and white-label architecture, including theming, configuration, feature flags, and tenant isolation
— Deep experience with tRPC and Zod, including validation, middleware, authorization, and error handling
— Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM, including schema design, migrations, optimization, and vector search with pgvector/pgai
— Advanced experience with React Query, including caching, optimistic updates, and background synchronization
— Experience with React Hook Form, TanStack Virtual, TailwindCSS, and shadcn/ui
— Hands-on experience integrating AI features using OpenAI and/or the AI SDK, including streaming and RAG workflows
— Solid experience with Keycloak/OIDC and NextAuth/Auth.js, including RBAC
— Strong knowledge of web security best practices, including XSS/CSRF prevention, secure sessions, rate limiting, and secret management
— Experience with CI/CD, automated migrations, logging, tracing, observability, and performance monitoring
— Experience with Azure and external API integrations
— Proven ability to define engineering standards, mentor engineers, and ensure scalability and maintainability
— Strong Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, OOP, and system design
— Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
— Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English

— Previous experience building AI-powered SaaS products
— Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, or AI agents
— Production experience with pgvector/pgai
— Experience with Salesforce APIs and CRM integrations
— Experience with Docker and GitHub Actions
— Experience with advanced performance profiling and observability tooling
— Previous work on integration-heavy, B2B SaaS, community, marketplace, or membership products
