About the role
The platform combines community management, networking, events, marketplace functionality, knowledge sharing, subscriptions, invoicing, rewards, and AI-powered personalization. Core features include AI-powered onboarding, member-to-member marketplace, event discovery, networking and matchmaking, paid subscriptions, rewards and referrals, and a chat-based AI assistant.
What you will do
— Architect and lead development of a scalable Next.js application using App Router, Server Components, Server Actions, and feature-based architecture
— Build type-safe backends with tRPC and Zod and integrate them with React Query
— Design and manage PostgreSQL schemas with Drizzle ORM, including vector search and AI-driven features using pgvector/pgai
— Develop accessible and reusable forms, chat interfaces, and UI components with React Hook Form, TailwindCSS, and shadcn/ui
— Implement efficient client-side data flows with React Query and high-performance interfaces with TanStack Virtual
— Integrate AI capabilities using OpenAI and the AI SDK, including streaming responses, tool calling, and RAG workflows
— Implement secure authentication and authorization with Keycloak/OIDC and NextAuth/Auth.js, including RBAC
— Drive application security best practices across frontend, backend, and APIs
— Own CI/CD, automated database migrations, Azure infrastructure, observability, logging, tracing, and performance monitoring
— Oversee Salesforce data flows and bi-directional synchronization
— Set engineering standards, lead code reviews, and contribute to architecture and design decisions
— Mentor engineers and work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver new features
— Ensure the platform remains scalable, secure, reliable, performant, and maintainable
What we expect
— Proven client-facing experience: presenting and defending technical solutions directly to clients, running technical calls and workshops, explaining architecture and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders, and turning business requirements into technical proposals and estimates
— C1 (Advanced) English or higher, because you will communicate with clients daily
— Hands-on experience building AI-integrated applications in production: LLM integrations (OpenAI and/or the AI SDK), streaming responses, tool calling, and RAG workflows
— Commercial experience building multi-tenant or SaaS products: tenant isolation, tenant configuration, feature flags, and white-label theming
— Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure: deploying, running, and maintaining production workloads (e.g. App Service / Container Apps, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Key Vault, Application Insights), plus CI/CD pipelines to Azure
— Expert-level proficiency in Next.js (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions), TypeScript, and React with feature-based architecture
— Deep experience with tRPC and Zod (validation, middleware, authorization, error handling)
— Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM (schema design, migrations, optimization), including vector search with pgvector/pgai
— Advanced experience with React Query (caching, optimistic updates, background sync)
— Experience with React Hook Form, TanStack Virtual, TailwindCSS, and shadcn/ui
— Solid experience with Keycloak/OIDC and NextAuth/Auth.js, including RBAC
— Strong knowledge of web security: XSS/CSRF prevention, secure sessions, rate limiting, secret management
— Experience with automated migrations, logging, tracing, observability, and performance monitoring
— Experience with external API integrations
— Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, OOP, system design
— Proven ability to set engineering standards, lead code reviews, and mentor engineers
— Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
As a plus
— Experience with AI agents, embeddings, and advanced RAG patterns
— Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-204, AZ-305)
— Experience with Salesforce APIs and CRM integrations
— Experience with Docker and GitHub Actions
— Experience with advanced performance profiling and observability tooling
— Previous work on integration-heavy B2B, community, marketplace, or membership products
— Experience in pre-sales or solution architecture for a services company
