What you will do
- Manage user accounts and access permissions
- Ensure systems meet security and compliance standards
- Maintain and update operating systems and applications
- Perform regular backups and support disaster recovery
- Provide basic IT support and onboarding/offboarding assistance
- Monitor system performance and maintain asset inventory
What we expect
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems, firewalls, antivirus, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, and/or Linux environments
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, or similar)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- English proficiency (written and verbal)
As a plus
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., scripting in Bash, PowerShell)
- Familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools
- Exposure to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR
- Experience supporting hybrid or remote teams
- Availability during business hours (at least partially)
