01

About the project

Impressit is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a cross-functional product team working on an intelligent asset orchestration platform for energy, mobility, and grid assets, currently expanding beyond EV charging into battery storage, solar, and wind integrations. This is a great opportunity to lead a discovery-led engagement — turning technical and business requirements into clear, engineering-ready specs — while working with modern technologies and an international team.
02

What you will do

— Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder conversations to understand integration requirements for EV charging, battery storage, solar, and wind assets

— Investigate and document the technical considerations involved in bringing these asset types onto the platform — including scheduling, monitoring, and bi-directional communication needs

— Translate business goals (asset orchestration, load scheduling, eventual grid trading) into clear, structured requirements and specifications

— Work closely with engineering leads to validate feasibility and estimate effort for proposed integrations

— Help quantify and prioritise the asset base to inform what gets scheduled/monitored first

Produce documentation ready to hand off directly to the engineering team, with minimal ongoing hand-holding once requirements are signed off

03

What we expect

— Proven experience as a Business Analyst on technical/platform integration projects, ideally within energy or utilities

— Strong domain familiarity with at least one of: battery/energy storage systems, solar generation assets, or wind generation assets — including how they're monitored, scheduled, and integrated with control/orchestration platforms

— Understanding of bi-directional data/control flows (e.g. asset telemetry in, dispatch/control commands out) relevant to grid and energy asset management

— Ability to work independently and drive discovery to a concrete, engineering-ready output (specs/requirements) without heavy oversight

— Comfortable working in a fast-paced, requirements-led discovery process, with defined timeboxes (~2 weeks per discovery track)

Advanced level of English

04

As a plus

— Prior exposure to EV charging or charge-point asset orchestration platforms

— Familiarity with grid trading, load forecasting, or energy market concepts

— Experience working alongside data/ML teams

— Familiarity with the Azure ecosystem
