Executive summary
Impressit developed a working prototype of a mobile app that utilizes scientific approach to help people fall asleep and get a quality rest. In a span of a few days, our team managed to create an app prototype that followed all the requirements the client had. This way, the client was able to present the application to investors as well as test it among the target audience.
Moreover, we already have a detailed plan and scope of work for a further development of a full-fledged cross-platform application.

Client background
There is no doubt that sleep is important for human health. There is also no doubt that in the modern fast-paced world a lot of people do not get enough of it. According to a 2022 survey, 1 in 5 adults in the United States struggle to sleep every single night, and more than 60% of adults in the UK suffer from disrupted sleep.
That is why, the founder of Lulu Light decided to use pioneering stroboscopic light technology to help those struggling to fall asleep. The Lulu Light app’s combination of special sounds and light patterns are aimed at revolutionizing sleep technology.
Challenges and objectives
The Lulu Light’s founder came to us with an idea, vision, and design. Therefore, our main goal was to create a working prototype that would allow Lulu Light’s founder to test the idea with target users.
Usually, the development of such a cross-platform prototype won't be a big deal. But the main challenge in this particular case was creating the algorithm responsible for stroboscopic light function. However, our team managed to find a solution that successfully connects an app with the phone’s flashlight.
As for the future, while Lulu Light’s founder already has a new improved design, we’ve prepared a thorough plan for development of a full-fledged app with extended functionality that our team is ready to implement.
Value delivered
This case is proof that one does not need to wait for investments to start implementing one’s own idea and changing the world. With the help from the Impressit team, the Lulu Light’s founder was able to get a working prototype and validate his idea.
Since the scope of the work was not large, we managed to deliver the result in just a few days, which allowed the Lulu Light’s founder to start testing the app prototype among the test user group. In this case, the customer did not have to choose which element of Time — Quality — Cost triangle to sacrifice — Impressit swiftly delivered a quality product within the allocated budget.
