Our client, a practicing veterinarian, envisioned a platform bridging job seekers and employers within the veterinary field. The idea was simple yet impactful: create a space where veterinary professionals could discover job opportunities, and employers could post vacancies. Impressit helped evolve this vision into a robust platform that connects professionals while ensuring anonymity and confidentiality when required.

Client Background

Initially built as a website where veterinary clinics could register and post job vacancies, the MyJobsVet platform tackled a pressing need for finding veterinarians who could work specific shifts or on-demand, such as for operating days or emergency calls. This need is substantial in the veterinary field facing staff shortages and limited technological solutions. 



MyJobsVet served two key user groups:

  1. Veterinary Clinics: Clinics could list open roles tailored to specific needs (hiring a veterinarian for a few shifts per week, specific operating days, or urgent cases).
  2. Veterinarians: Professionals seeking new job opportunities, part-time jobs, or weekend-only shifts, could browse and apply for open positions. The application process included submitting CVs directly through the platform, so employers could promptly assess candidates.

     

Challenges and Objectives

One of the most significant challenges Impressit faced was the tight project timeline. Our client had commitments to their own customer base and needed the revamped platform ready by November, just three months after starting development. Despite the limited implementation period, our team delivered on time, meeting all requirements.
The founder pivoted to turn MyJobsVet into a White Label Solution and partnered with established names in the veterinary industry. One of the companies took on new life under a white-label strategy, presenting its enhanced features and design to a broader audience. 



This transition required significant updates, including the following:

  • Redesigns for Branding: Fonts, styling, and visuals were all revamped to match the branding of VeteVate and the respective white-label partners. These changes made the platform user-friendly and visually appealing.

 
  • AI Assistance for Job Postings: Introducing AI tools streamlined the posting process for clinics. With the integration of OpenAI, users could now generate job descriptions with customizable prompts like “Describe this role under these conditions.” AI generates coherent text that clinic managers could tweak, saving valuable time.
     
  • Expanded Functionality: From its origins as a simple job-search site, the platform evolved into a comprehensive system, now featuring personal accounts for applicants and enhanced subscription mechanics to suit its updated business needs.

With our team as their technical partner, the client transformed their initial vision from a basic job board into a feature-rich platform tailored for the veterinary industry. Initially, users could only upload resumes to a bulletin board. Today, the platform offers advanced tools for both job seekers and employers.

  • Anonymity Options for Candidates

    Candidates can now choose to share their resumes publicly, allowing full visibility of their contact details and experience, or confidentially, ensuring personal information is hidden while still enabling employers to reach out. Employers can send messages via a secure email system without accessing the candidate’s direct contact information.
     
  • Candidate Accounts
    Candidates have access to a personal dashboard where they can upload their resumes, apply directly to specific vacancies, and track their application history.

     
  • Employer-Friendly Tools
    Employers can now view applicants specific to their job postings and access a centralized database to search for potential candidates. The platform also supports email integration, enabling employers to seamlessly contact candidates without opening resumes manually.
 
  • Advanced Resume Processing
    A specialized service, Affinda, processes CVs, extracts key data, and ensures sensitive information (names and contact details) remains private in shared files.Throughout these transformations, the founder found a reliable technical partner in our team.
     

We consistently offered solutions tailored to his needs, whether it was redesigning the platform to align with branding, integrating AI tools, or improving existing functionalities. Our collaborative approach ensured that his ideas were implemented within the constraints of time and budget, reinforcing mutual trust.


The platform now operates under a white-label model with the flexibility to cater to the specific needs of its industry partners. By addressing historical barriers and introducing innovative features like AI-powered postings, the platform is better positioned to thrive in a competitive market.
