Senior Account Manager
About the project
Impressit is looking for a Senior Account Manager (with BD Focus) to join a cross-functional team working with international clients across software development and digital product delivery. This is a strategic role focused on growing long-term client partnerships, maximizing account value, and driving organic business growth.
As the main commercial point of contact for our clients, you will build strong relationships, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and ensure high account health and client satisfaction. Alongside account management responsibilities, you will also support business development initiatives and help generate new opportunities during periods of portfolio stability.
You will collaborate closely with Delivery, Engineering, and Leadership teams to align client expectations with internal capabilities and contribute to the successful growth of both client accounts and the company overall.
What you will do
— Manage and grow a portfolio of international client accounts with a focus on long-term partnerships and revenue expansion
— Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and deeply understand clients’ business goals and delivery expectations
— Identify and drive upselling, cross-selling, and scaling opportunities within existing accounts
— Lead contract renewals, SOW extensions, and commercial negotiations
— Monitor account health, client satisfaction, and retention metrics to proactively mitigate risks and churn
— Collaborate closely with Delivery, Engineering, and Leadership teams to align business opportunities with delivery capabilities
— Conduct discovery and qualification calls for inbound and outbound opportunities
— Support outbound business development initiatives during periods of portfolio stability
— Coordinate with technical and delivery teams to prepare proposals and transition opportunities into active engagements
— Contribute to account strategy, revenue forecasting, and partnership development discussions
What we expect
— 5+ years of commercial experience as an Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, or Business Development professional in IT outsourcing/outstaffing or software services
— Proven experience managing and growing client accounts in international markets
— Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, agile delivery processes, and modern engineering teams
— Experience working closely with technical stakeholders, delivery managers, and engineering leadership
— Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including communication with C-level executives
— Strong commercial mindset with experience in upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion strategies
— Hands-on experience leading discovery calls, qualifying opportunities, and supporting sales pipelines
— Ability to balance account management responsibilities with tactical outbound business development activities
— Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and relationship-building skills
— High level of autonomy and ability to work in fast-paced cross-functional environments
— Strong communication and presentation skills
— User- and client-centric approach focused on long-term partnership success
— C1–C2 level of English (written and spoken)
— Availability to travel abroad for client meetings and business trips across different countries
As a plus
— Experience working with enterprise clients in the US and European markets
— Previous experience in IT outsourcing, outstaffing, or consulting companies
— Background in software engineering, technical recruiting, or delivery management
— Experience working with CRM systems and sales automation tools
— Previous work with fintech, healthcare, logistics, SaaS, or AI-driven products
